Looks like Nick Jonas is lonely again. Jonas Brothers star has reportedly split from girlfriend Selena Gomez.

The teenage pair, both 16, has been romantically linked since last summer, but, despite repeated denials from both Jonas and Gomez, online gossips have continued to speculate about the status of their relationship.

Star magazine claims Gomez and Jonas, who once dated Miley Cyrus, had been dating in secret for almost a year – but have now parted ways.

And Jonas’ busy schedule has been cited as the reason for the break-up.

A source tells the publication, “He’s a hard boy to date. He’s very into his music, and any girl comes second.”

“Selena would often miss Nick, and he just wouldn’t be there. But they’re still friends. They’re both very mature. She won’t make a weird scene about it.”

What a cute couple! Maybe they will work it out.

Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift looked like a music match made in heaven.  Both were adorable clean-cut stars that seemed a perfect match.  Taylor Swift is well on her way to establishing herself as a country music superstar status with her incredible talent in both songwriting and in performing. Middle Jonas Joe is one of the three stars of one of the most exciting acts going.

The buzz was that the two were a couple and then just two weeks ago it was reported that they were finished and their love quickly fizzled.  Reports claimed that the pair began dating early this summer, when Taylor, 18, and Joe, 19 were spotted at each other’s concerts.  

Unfortunately for Taylor, reports claimed that the Jonas Brother dumped her by phone this month.  But is there a second chance on the horizon for the two young stars?  A report out Monday places the two together at an upcoming concert in Texas where they will perform together for the 2009 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

“At first I bawled for a month straight. I was so sad. I just went into this weird funk. And I dyed my hair black. When we were dating, Nick wanted me to get highlights – and so I did that, and I got myself looking great. And then, on the day we broke up, I was like, I want to make my hair black now – I don’t want to look pretty; I want to look hard-core. I was rebelling against everything Nick wanted me to be. And then I was like, I’ve got to be by myself for now, and just figure out who I really am.”

That is what 15 year old Miley Cyrus proclaimed to Seventeen magazine. The couple broke up at the end of 2007. Nick Jonas is now currently linked to Wizard of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez. The issue hits stands in September.

The Wizard of Waverly Place star, Selena Gomez, will neither confirm nor deny the fact that she and Nick Jonas (Miley’s ex-BF) are dating, but she has no problems confirming her passion for the boys’ new album on YouTube.

“If you already bought it, buy another one. And if you’ve already bought another one, get another one after that,” Gomez continues, while intermittently humming and singing the album’s first single, “Burning Up,” along with Henrie. The video then cuts to crew members from the Waverly Place set cheering as Gomez implores them to buy the album. 

People are wanting to know what her motivation is. A source confirmed to People magazine last month that the pair have been “dating for months”. According to both Gomez and Jonas Brothers’ reps, those accusations are false and no romantic relationship has been established. 

Oh to be young and already having the world monitor your every move, boyfriend/girlfriend, and what Happy-Meal you prefer. What a life.
