Weeks after splitting with Jennifer Aniston, John Mayer debuted a new tune, titled “Heartbreak Warfare,” on his recent five-day cruise, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue, out today.
Before performing the song on March 28, he told the 3,000 fans aboard the Mayercraft Carrier 2, “It’s miserable being around someone who’s negative.”
He then began singing the song, which includes such lyrics as: “If you want more love, why don’t you say so?”

They wowed Hollywood with a high-profile Oscar date, posing arm-in-arm for photographs in what was largely seen as their official coming out as a couple after a year of off-and-on dating. Then Jennifer Aniston headed to Europe to promote Marley & Me and John Mayer stayed in L.A. to work on his music.
And just days after Aniston returned, they were a couple no more, sources confirm to People magazine.
“They had some disagreements and decided to not continue to see each other,” says one source. “Jen is moving on with her life like she always does. She seems happy.”

John Mayer may have stolen the “Man-Whore” title from Bret Michaels. I honestly have to say, I do not like this guy. I’ve never cared about him or his music. I personally think Jennifer Aniston could do better. This article just re-affirms my opinion.
NEW YORK, New York – John Mayer’s not one to kiss and tell, but he made an exception on Tuesday night.
During an interview and performance at the Spotlight Live nightclub in New York for radio station Z100, the musician – who has kept quiet about his relationship with Jennifer Aniston - was asked by an audience member if he’d ever “hooked up with a fan from a concert.”
“Do you respect me for my honesty? The answer is yes I have,” Mayer said, before laughing and adding, “Not since the camera phone!”
Mayer also responded to a question on his success with the paparrazi, who he admitted have taken it easy on him.
“You can’t kill what you’re made of,” he said. “You can’t get trashier than me.”
