Media reports from Gavin McGraw’s home town confirm that the singer was not killed in the plane accident involving former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and popular DJ AM (Adam Goldstein).

“You have no idea how many phone calls we’ve been getting from people out of concern,” Gavin’s father Wayne DeGraw said.

DeGraw’s dad says Gavin was still on the ground in South Carolina and waiting to leave on Saturday morning.

There was speculation that DeGraw might be aboard the plane with Barker and Goldstein, because he performed at a concert Friday night with Barker and DJ AM.

Travis and DJ AM are both in critical condition having sustained burn wounds after the plane crashed. Perry Farrell - who performed with Barker, Goldstein and DeGraw -is also safe as he didn’t board that plane either.

This is a developing story, and we will keep you posted.

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and celebrity DJ AM were critically injured in a fiery Learjet crash in South Carolina that killed four people, authorities said Saturday.

Officials said the plane carrying six people was departing shortly before midnight Friday when air traffic controllers reporting seeing sparks. The plane hurtled off the end of a runway and crashed through antennas and a fence. It came to rest on an embankment across a five-lane highway and was engulfed in flames, said Debbie Hersman, a member of the National Transportation Safety Board.

Barker and DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, were in critical condition at a burn center in Augusta, Ga., about 75 miles southwest of Columbia, hospital spokeswoman Beth Frits said.

Two other passengers — Chris Baker, 29, of Studio City, Calif., and Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles — died, as did pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills, Calif., and co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, according to the county coroner.

The plane was headed for Van Nuys, Calif. It is owned by Global Exec Aviation, a California-based charter company, and was certified to operate last year, Hersman said. The company said it had no immediate comment.

At the crash site Saturday, the air was still heavy with the odor of jet fuel. A trail of black soot led off a runway. The nose of the aircraft was gone and the roof was missing from two-thirds of the charred plane. Read the rest of this entry…

LONDON - A Pink Floyd spokesman says founding member Richard Wright has died. He was 65.

Wright died Monday after a battle with cancer at his home in Britain. His family did not want to give more details about his death. The spokesman is Doug Wright, who is not related to the artist.

Richard Wright met Pink Floyd members Roger Waters and Nick Mason at college and joined their early band Sigma 6.

Sigma 6 eventually became Pink Floyd and Wright wrote and sang some of the band’s key songs. He wrote “The Great Gig In The Sky” and “Us And Them” from Pink Floyd’s 1973 “The Dark Side Of The Moon.”

He left the group in the early 1980s to form his own band but rejoined Pink Floyd for their 1987 album “A Momentary Lapse of Reason.”

I had no idea she was dating the guy from Gym Class Heroes!! Travis McCoy was asked what girl he would prefer to see her locking lips with, his reply:

“Definitely none!”

But wait!! After he thought about it he did have one that he would choose.

“Elisabeth Shue,” McCoy said at a party for his band Tuesday. “She was my first crush from Adventures In Babysitting.”

McCoy told Us magazine his romance with Perry is going strong.

Cuddling in the morning is the best part of their day. (Awwwww. That’s sweet.)

“It’s kind of silly, but I love it,” he said. “And also just goofing around. We kind of have our own language that only we understand – it just works.”

As for that promise ring he gave her?

“I guess I’m kind old school – it was a token of my affection and a way to show her that I wanted to take it to another level,” he told Us. “Not the next next level, but a level above where we were at.”

Good for them!! Hope it works out!!

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – LAX police confirmed to Access Hollywood, which was the first news outlet to break the news online today, that Kanye West was arrested at LAX earlier today.

West was arrested at 7:51 AM this morning in Terminal Four on charges of battery and vandalism.

He is still in custody at the airport.

Airport police can’t confirm yet, but they speculate it was due to a situation with the paparazzi.
