Christiana Aguilera has caught some flack for frequenting hot spots with husband Jordan Bratman since the birth of the couple’s son Max in January. 

Still, the 27-year-old defends herself, tellingGlamour magazine, “We make sure we have Mommy and Daddy nights out.”

Adds Aguilera:  “Our child comes first, obviously, but there are certain things you can do: Once we know he’s in good hands, we go out late at night and have a few drinks.”

After a night out on the town, the sexy singer says, she and her hubby “dim the lights and do our thing.”

And while Aguilera has been very vocal in the past about her intimate relationship with Bratman, she coyly tells the magazine, “I’m not going into any more detail than that.”

In what has to be the most under whelming unveiling yet — and a bad case of stolen thunder — for one of the largest retailers in the world, Walmart (unhyphenated as a single word from now on) just uploaded a formal, band-aid of a press release to their web site confirming the logo change that surfaced over the weekend when The Wall Street Journal reported that the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development had received documents from Walmart with the intent of opening a prototype store there. An artist rendering on those documents showed a new sign over the facade of the proposed store.

A new male love interest is moving to Wisteria Lane next season.

Neal McDonough has joined the cast of “Desperate Housewives” in a recurring role as a white-collar resident who is expected to get romantically involved with one of the housewives.

He is the second addition to the cast of the ABC show next season, along withGale Harold (“Queer as Folk”), who will recur as Ken, the mysterious man seen kissing Teri Hatcher‘s character in the final flash-forward scene this past season.

McDonough’s TV credits include the short-lived series “Medical Investigation” and “Boomtown,” as well as the 2007 miniseries “Tin Man.”
